Nagoya Castle

Jan and I went for an early morning outing on Wednesday 12/14 to nearby Nagoya Castle before the 11:30am call time.

The sign says that this guy engineered the construction of the castle grounds.

At seven stories high, this castle must have been so impressively tall.

This is a sample gargoyle (inside the museum) of the size, color, and design of those on the castle roof.

Trees that need protection during the winter were all wrapped up.

  1. Thank you, Cheryl and Jan, for all the great pictures. :) You've been great "tour guides" for those of us who stayed home. And, the fish is a bit strange... But thank you for all of it.
